My Awesome Fourth of July Bike Ride

On the Fourth of July, my family and I went on a super fun bike ride! We started in Oostburg and rode all the way to Kohler-Andrae State Park. It was a long ride, but the weather was nice and we were all together, so it was really fun. My legs were kind of tired, but I didn’t even care because it was so cool riding through the woods and near the beach.

When we got to the park, we met up with Uncle Cai. He’s really funny and always makes things more exciting. We hung out, talked, and rested for a little while. I liked looking at the sand dunes and hearing the waves.

After that, we rode back and stopped at Culver’s for dinner. I got a cheeseburger and fries, and of course a concrete mixer for dessert. Culver’s is the best after a long ride!

It was a perfect day. We got to be outside, spend time as a family, and celebrate the Fourth of July together. I hope we do it again next year—maybe even ride farther! It was pretty great. 🧨🍔🌳
